The Small Business Administration in conjunction with the Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center, Jacksonville State Center for Economic Development, and the Alabama Small Business Institute for Commerce are hosting a loan clinic at the JSU Small Business Development Center office on Tuesday.
The SBDC office is located in the College of Commerce, Merrill Hall, Room 114, on Pelham Road North (Alabama Highway 21). A group presentation of the SBA loan programs will be given at 1 p.m. and repeated at 2 p.m.
The loan clinic is free and open to people who are thinking about starting a business or for existing business owners. An emphasis will be placed on the Community Express Loan Program in which start-up and existing business owners can apply for unsecured loans up to $50,000. Seating is limited so advance registration is required. To make your reservation or for more information, call the SBDC office at 782-5271.
